I no longer live, but Christ lives in me, the life I now live in the body; I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." This verse is a powerful declaration and a transformative truth that defines our new identity and the way of life we are called to embrace as believers.

Paul's words remind us that the old you and me, with all its flaws and failures, have been crucified with Christ. This union with Jesus signifies not just an end but a beginning, ushering us into a life where Christ's presence within us defines our actions, thoughts, and purpose.

Living by faith is having a daily trust in the one whose love is unconditional, and His sacrifice has paid for our redemption.

Reflecting on this text, I discovered three critical aspects of what it truly means to be crucified with Christ.

Union with Christ: Our old self is crucified with Christ, signifying the end of our former way of life. This profound union means our identity is now rooted in Jesus, transforming our purpose and direction.
Christ Lives in Us: We are empowered to reflect His character with Christ living in us. His indwelling presence guides our actions and thoughts, helping us embody love, grace, and truth.
Living by Faith: Our life is now sustained by faith in Jesus. Living by faith shapes our responses to life's challenges, grounding us in hope and trust in God's plan.

Let these truths inspire and encourage you to fully embrace your identity in Christ and walk boldly in His light. Jesus said, "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. Our journey as a believer is living for Christ.
