Embracing God's Gift of Eternal Life

I read a quote by John Locke the other day. Listen as I share it, "The Bible is one of the greatest blessings bestowed by God on the children of men. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth without any mixture for its matter. It is all pure."

The profound message of God, so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life, takes on a poignant significance during this season of Lent. With 35 days remaining, it provides a unique opportunity for believers to dive deeper into the sacrificial Love Jesus demonstrated through the crucifixion.

Because Lent is a symbolic journey, John 3:16 encapsulates the essence of Lent, God's boundless Love manifested in the gift of His Son for our redemption. How deep is God's Love? God's Love is so deep that He would have a ram in the bush to save all who believe in His son, Jesus.

Here are my final remarks. In the echoes of Lent, we find the resonance of God's Love reverberating through the centuries. The promise of eternal life becomes our guiding light as we navigate the challenges and triumphs of our journeys. As we approach the cross during this sacred season, let the words ignite our faith and gain depth and reverence, inspiring us to live out the message of Love, redemption, and hope.

Let me close with a quote by Leo Buscaglia, "Love is always bestowed as a gift - freely, willingly and without expectation. We don't love to be loved; we love to love." Why? Because God first loved us.
